Katherine S. McKelvey is founder and publisher of Northwest.

Katherine was born in Washington, but has traveled and lived throughout the U.S. and Europe. Katherine recently returned to Port Townsend where her family has lived since the 1970s.

She is a graduate of Western Washington University and has a post- graduate degree from the University of Washington in Recreation and Leisure Research. Katherine has 25 years of corporate sales and marketing, promotion and advertising experience in the hospitality/events management industry, as well as experience selling advertising for other regional publications.

Her goal is to publish a sophisticated creative resource for residents that reflects the Spirit of the Pacific Northwest.
