What A Friend Wine Has In Cheeses

This is the story of a remarkable wine-and-cheese pairing, a confluence of Northwest people and agriculture from cows grazing in eastern King County and fruit grown in Oregon orchards, created by two men who have never met. One is a Seattle entrepreneur who turned his attention to cheese; the other is a biochemist with a social conscience who turned his attention to wine. Their efforts eventually came together thanks to a chef at the Pike Place Market … but we’re getting ahead of the story...
